The New ELCO SOL-TECH S2 Solar Water Heaters combine the best DURO GLASS enameled-glass boiler, with the most efficient ELCO CS Full-Plate BLUE TITANIUM selective collectors!

They incorporate a range of design and manufacturing improvements that offer even higher performance and durability.

BOILER

  • Boiler energy class C
  • Boiler made of special specifications DC03 sheet metal in conformity with EN10139, tested at 16 bar
  • Boiler internally protected by DURO GLASS enamel
  • Cathode protection of the boiler by two extremely large magnesium rods
  • Internal expansion tank for steady performance and excellent aesthetic result
  • Large surface solar circuit jacket-type exchanger 
  • Internally and externally enameled connection tubes and new-design washers made of ultra-resistant to solar radiation material for better water-tightness
  • Greater protection of the boiler against environment conditions thanks to the entirely stainless steel (AISI 304) outer shell
  • High density, ecological, HCFC-free, closed-cell expanded polyurethane boiler insulation, of 50mm thickness and 52kg/m³ density with λ=0,021W/mK

SOLAR COLLECTORS

  • High-performance selective solar collectors 2x1,5m2 with Solar Keymark
  • Single selective BLUE TITANIUM absorber, laser welded for absolute bond with the hydroskeleton. Absorbency coefficient a=95% (±2%), Emission coefficient ε=5% (±2%) 
  • Mistlite Tempered Low Iron Safety Glass (100% shatterproof) of high permeability τ=92%
  • Hydroskeleton made of copper
  • Rock wool thermal insulation of low thermal conductivity   
  • Collector frame made of anodized aluminum without any plastic connections or seams 
  • The back of the collector is made of galvanized sheet metal and is connected to the frame with EPDM sealants for absolute water tightness  
  • Special thermal fluid that completely protects from frost, overheating, salt deposits and oxidation
