Armored tank

The steel tank is manufactured on an automated production line, without the intervention of the human factor, with high precision tolerances achieved by mechanical equipment exclusively used by ELCO . Internally coated with a special, high quality glass enamel (DURO GLASS) which is the result of many years of research and testing by ELCO.

In addition, the complete and uniform protection of the boiler is ensured, thanks to the special enamel coating in a vacuum procedure, exclusively applied by ELCO, 
Result: Absolute protection of the boiler against corrosion

Also with the double magnesium anodes produced by ELCO, with multiple the magnesium quantity commonly used and double the quantity required by the European standards, the complete cathode protection of the tank against electrolysis is ensured.

But even on rainy days, the ELCO SOL-TECH S2 & ELCO XR solar water heaters operate as electric water heaters since they are equipped with a high quality, special specifications heating element, that guarantees the immediate flow of large quantity of hot water, as well as a longer life expectancy.

Externally, the rigid, closed-cell, HCFC free polyurethane foam insulation uniformly and precisely covers every part of the tank, keeping the contained water hot for a longer periods of time.

Finally, the new ELCO SOL-TECH S2 & ELCO XR solar water heaters offer special models equipped with an integrated, large surface, enamel coated steel tube heat exchanger (G3/4'' serpentine) for "free" hot water even in the winter, since they can be connected to the central heating, while the new ELCO SOL-TECH S2 RS with one or two heat exchangers models, are available with an additional inlet for hot water recirculation or thermocouple installation.

High efficiency selective solar collectors

Thanks to the new BLUE TITANIUM CS Full-Plate, copper, selective collectors , ELCO SOL-TECH S2 & ELCO XR solar water heaters maximize the performance of even the weakest solar radiation due to:

• 95% Solar energy absorption 
• 10% higher average annual energy efficiency than regular collectors
• 16% higher energy efficiency during winter and autumn months
• More than than double temperature rise than regular collectors

Result: Hot water even on... cloudy days.

In addition, the thick rock-wool blanket insulation minimizes the thermal losses of the collector while the safety tempered glass of low iron content and high solar transparency (τ=92%) increases the performance of the collector.

Supports

The new ELCO SOL-TECH S2 & ELCO XR solar water heaters are examples of safety and security. The closed circuit thermal fluid circulation (40% thermal fluid & 60% water) protects the system from ffreezing, overheating, as well as from salt deposits and rust, maintaining the maximum system performance.
New, hot-dip galvanized supports, specially designed for safe and easy installation on flat or inclined roof (tile roof), provide high endurance and safety even in the most adverse weather conditions.

In addition, the special supports for installation on inclined roof:

• Can be installed on roofs with a 22^ο to 47^ο inclination
• Can be mounted either on woodwork or concrete roof
• Can be adjusted according to the dimensions and distance of the vertical and horizontal roof beams
• Can be installed without drilling holes or cutting, on any type of roof-tiles (Roman, French, Swedish, Byzantine) ensuring the roof's water-tightness

X-press program

The breakthrough X-press program enables you to achieve perfect, homogeneous baking results with a mere of a button.
This program is "niche" in that it is a unique 3-D function (simultaneous function of upper and lower heating elements along with circulation of hot air originating from a separate ring heating element). This way the oven temperature remains stable and even throughout baking.

X-press baking

ELCO X-press cookers leave you more free time for yourself! Thanks to the breakthrough X-press baking system, oven temperature rises to 200oC in just 4 minutes, i.e. 5 times faster than all other ovens. ELCO cookers' oven cleans 2 times easier and faster than ordinary enamels. At the very low temperature of 50oC, just wipe the oven with a damp sponge after each baking session. Moreover, another feature of ELCO cookers' oven is a removable bottom panel that you clean by simply pulling out and washing it the exact same way you do your dishes.
